White House Fence-Jumper From Same City As Woman Killed In Car Trying To Ram Barrier

Stamford, Connecticut.

Right away as the location's been identified people have been bringing up Miriam Carey, who was shot and killed as she tried to ram her car through a security barrier at the White House in 2013.

"Caputo, a Stamford resident, then ran toward the White House, but quickly complied when Secret Service officers ordered him to stop and get on the ground, according to court documents. A frequent poster of anti-government comments on his Facebook account, Caputo told the officers, “I love my country.”

He also told them “I knew I would be locked up,” the documents state.

He apparently also figured the brazen feat would be his last. Before jumping the fence while President Barack Obama was celebrating Thanksgiving with his family, Caputo, 22, left a suicide note with friends and a will with his mother, telling her she may never see him again, court documents show.

Caputo, who has been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome according to an interview he gave four years ago, was ordered to undergo an emergency psychiatric evaluation on Friday after being charged with one count of illegal entry onto restricted grounds, which carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison."
