CCRyda69 User ID: 70924084 Canada 11/29/2015 08:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Cool thread OP. I play a PRS Santana as my main tool Then I have a 57 Goldtop Epiphone Reissue but its one hell of gitfiddle for the price I paid new. It came with 57 and 57+ Gibson pickups. Then I have 3 Squier Classic vibe Teles and man let me tell you they are awesome guitars for their price! One is a vintage blonde tele with maple neck and it is made out of pine like the first esquires Then one is a thinline tele. Great for funk and blues and obviously nice and light Then I got a store exclusive Gold Bronze tele with a humbucker in the neck and love the fuck out of it since I got it 6 months ago Amp wise I don't have nothing special really but I can dial them in to where it feels good to me ahah One is FSR silver blues junior with a 12 inch celestion 30. Not bad a little amp. Would like to do some Bill M mods to it someday Then I got one of those chinky little fender champ 600 but it is actually a decent little amp for the price and it looks great. Changed the stock tubes in it and sounds wicked. Would like to mod that too someday to make it sound like a vintage tweed Then I got a GDEC 30 blues edition. Great practice amp with backing tracks, a looper, two guitar input, easy to edit sounds and actually does a fair job at recreating the classic amps it has. I usually just use that for recording straight into my little zoom r8 recorder and sampler. as far as pedals go I don't have much but I got all I need haha BOSS Combo Drive. Fucking great pedal. Recommend it BOSS RC2 Looper Mini Tubescreamer MXR Badass Distortion and a zoom multi effects unit in a convenient stomp box shape. Recommend this as well because the modulations and reverbs on it are fucking amazing for price. The overdrives and amp sims are kinda meh but hey. all powered by VOODOO LABS PEDAL POWER and I got a sweet little gretsch new Yorker mandolin that I can never put down. I love all music really but my heart is in the blues but I enjoy playing everything, jazz, country, bluegrass, rock and roll, metal, electronica type shit. I've also got a nice acoustic which gets the most play atm. However, I only play other peoples tunes, famous songs, solos. Love solos. But I only play for fun. |

I have a butterscotch blackguard converted to a "stealth" esquire with a bakelite esquire guard installed over the neck pickup...it still works and kinda looks cool. These guitars have a lot of resonance acoustically and "spank" even when not plugged in. |

Karlos User ID: 66295922 United Kingdom 11/29/2015 11:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I only play for fun, but I did treat myself to a BMG Red Special (the 'Super', replica version) earlier this year (nearly 3k GBP, a LOT of money to me, for what is only a secondary 'hobby') Always loved the look of Brian May's guitar. Still tend to play my old Strat (Am Std) most of the time though - cost less than a quarter of the BMG, several years ago - solid, reliable and versatile, and I guess I'm just more comfortable with it. Plug-in and gadgets I do sometimes, but find that having a cheap-ass nylon string Guitar laying around that I can pick up any time without plugging in is the best ever. Lately I do happy, silly songs that I can play in front of any age-group, or family. My latest tune using Plectrum Style is "Someone to Watch Over Me". I can play a bad-ass version of "Dancing Cheek to Cheek" as well (Plectrum Style). I still like the Pick-Style playing for rock tunes. . |

Save any bullshit about it not working well, i bought it about three days ago and my fingers are fried from jamming, its absolutely amazing. Hot rodded fat strat with a vox amp. |

Love them both. Playing through a POD HD500X now I have a kid but also have a Laney Lionheart valve amp and a cheap Fender modelling amp. Lots of other tear but that's my main setup. Write and record my own stuff. Also do the occasional gear demo and lessons. Used to teach professionally and been in a few bands. |

I had a 1970s Fender Bassman 100 which I had to sell unfortunately... FX... I am not really into those. I have a Bad Monkey overdrive, a CryBaby and a Big Muff.
