Next week's Doctor Who regarding Clara

He can't go back in his own timeline like that. She's dead. It's time for a new companion.

I think she has to remain in the story now because of the impossible girl she is everywhere in his timeline.

Probably just on holiday for a fortnight before he pops back and saves her.

She's alive. Her death was faked to protect her from ME.

Shes been dead 4 billion years. But then saying that she was everywhere and died back when the 11th doc was around, and he went and found another her.

But she has left the show.

Jenna Coleman was trying to leave the show after season 8. She's done.

Who is the impossible girl and what do you mean she is everywhere?

Clara, in one incarnation or another, has met every single one of the doctors, and I think she's the only companion to do that. She somehow pops up into each of their timelines, including the War Doctor. Don't know how. I read some interesting speculation that maybe she's just part of an ongoing dream the Doctor is having and she represents part of his subconscious. Perhaps she's an alter ego. Others are speculating that perhaps she's the Doctor's original mom. Who knows...bottom line is she's impossible because she keeps showing up in the different Doctors' timelines even though she gets killed off in some of them (like the Victorian incarnation).

I just think it's an unnecessarily complex story line for someone who should have been just another companion. Personally I wish they'd bring back Leela and K9 (permanently, LOL).

What did you think of Heaven Sent, btw? I think the episodes have become kind of precious myself - too self absorbed and pretentious. I'd rather the Doctor just run around saving the world from assorted monsters and mechanicals.

Clara jumps into the doctors time stream at Trenzalore, where the doctors said to have died. And in so doing she was shattered into a million Clara fragments throughout time.
