Has that ever happened before? Same thing happened over my house before the first Gulf War, and it was ALL NIGHT LONG.

We've only lived here about 6 months. I will sometimes hear 2-4 fly over in quick succession, but nothing like tonight.

Interesting, yeah, same here, I knew that night before the Gulf War something major was up. We had never heard more than a couple at a time, that night it was non-stop for hours and hours. We were living in St. Pete at the time.

Do you people realize how much fuel it would be needed to fly this many B52's across the ocean to the middle east? Do you realize how many re-fueling crafts would also need to be airborne?

IF there is any B52 movement it is only continental U.S. and probably just exercises.

I hope your right, but there could be tankers also flying out of Minot and Barksdale. During the cold war, we had lots of B-52's on Station; just flying circles, just waiting for the Go Codes. That required lots of tankers too...
