Males have a higher metabolism than females. This is why your wife needs an extra blanket at night while you are comfortable. Metabolism plunges dramatically during menopause and with old age. Old people just aren't burning fuel as fast as young people, thus body temperature is lower. The reason women are colder is because they are inactive and lazy.

Also low iron and low blood pressure. A weak heart.

My wife complained so much that I sent her to the doctor due to suspected thyroid issues. Doc simply said to exercise more, hydrate and take an iron supplement.

You can't sit on the couch all day and expect to have a robust circulatory system. Do you think women on the frontier got cold? Hells nah. They were out chopping wood and giving small pox to Indians in 20 degree weather.

The key is to train for a marathon so that you at least have an average physique. Strengthen that heart. And bitches no longer be chilly.

nope! i'm in good shape and work physically and hubs is a bit overweight and a sedentary job. i'm always freezing and he's always warm.

I'm a 34 year old man and constantly cold. I have my thermostat set to 74.

Men have faster metabolisms and more brown fat. It has something to do with testosterone. Elderly also have a drop in hormones.

One has biological system geared towards forging and creating survival for family. The other has the two hemispheres connected for communication, connecting dots quickly, caretaking and helping children and family, public service and community, solving problems and multi tasking. They aren't the warriors.

They're both equal.

Women are not equal if they become men, they're equal as women.

And so you're wish for a hot, thin, wirey, frisky woman is one with a beard too!!! One with too much testosterone is far more reactive and warrior like.

If it's over 62 degrees I'm sweating my ass off.

I live in northern Michigan and even when it's 10 degrees out I'll only wear a sweatshirt. Maybe it's because of my Scandia heritage but I'm immune to all but dangerously low temps. Like 20 below.

My Buttercup likes to cuddle up cause I'm her 'Heater' but her body makes me start sweating. I keep my house at 60 degrees year round.

Lack of vitamin D3 and I get cold. Also the smell that many very old have is the medications they are on. You can actually smell the meds coming from their pores.

I am a woman, and do heavy labor fixing up trashed rentals, but I get cold if I don,t get enough Sun. Grounding also helps. I hardly ever get to sit around except for when I am on the internet.

It has to do with low iron. Women who are of menstruating age have lower iron than men because they bleed. Old folks have lower iron absorption.

How old are you OP? I feel like most people should know this.

well , i am 72 , and to mask any supposed smell just stick a rose in your ass as you walk -maybe that will do it.
