What Would it be like?

I have been reading/writing/watching news for as long as I can recall and I've realized something that is as obvious as the sun.
There is something that is left out;

WHERE IS THE GOOD NEWS???

I don't understand why the "powers that be" feel we as a society need to be conditioned to handle and accept all the horror, tragedy on a daily, literally, minute by minute basis.
Examples such as: parents and children shot dead, plane crashes, kidnappings, school shootings, doom, doom and more doom, war etc..

I wonder what our world would..could be like if we had more hopeful, positive news to maybe have as inspiration and goals???

Why have we gone so wrong???
