Can I keep bacon in the freezer

You can freeze it no problem but I would defrost for a good few hours before cooking.

I think so yes, you can cook it in a frying pan with just a little water, the water will kind of boil it first and thaw it out then when water evaporates its already a little precooked and then gets sizzled to perfection, no under cooked bits

Only short term, like the month you mentioned. Pork in deep freeze goes funny tasting but not poisonous after about four months in my experience, even bacon. Can't hoard pork. Can't stack pork.(answer to the can'teatgold folks)

Yes you can keep in freezer but need to defrost it first as it may be crude on some parts & burned out in others ....

Bacon can easy be SALTED & preserved for survival as is on Strips, can be cooked & made into bacon jerky ..

For Muslims & Jews The same can be done with Kosher & Halal turkey Bacon...

i always freeze the bacon the day i bring it home unless im planning on eating some that day

then i thaw it in the microwave on defrost for about 8 minutes before cooking

Yes, I freeze unopened packages of bacon all the time. No worries.

Just place the opened bacon into an airtight container or freezer bag.

I defrost my pack of bacon in a sink with cold water for bout 30min. Then i take it out of the pack still partially frozen and stab the bacon all over which helps to seperate it. Then i place the bacon on a baking sheet and broil it.

The tiny fork holes that i made also helps the bacon keep its precooked shape and prevents the fat from tightening up and curling your bacon.

Throw the frozen bacon in the microwave for 20 or 30 seconds before frying it in order to take the deep chill off.

Yes, I buy it in bulk from my local butcher (40 lb. +/-) and divide it up in 4 lb freezer bags. I take a fresh bag from the freezer and put in the fridge to thaw when I use up the previous one so I don't have to deal with a frozen block come cooking time. .
