Because different words in different religions have common etymologies does not mean that their adherents believe in the original meaning of these words. Ideas get grafted onto words that change their meaning over time. I would have thought that was obvious. Evidently, it is not to you.

Yes, the truth is heartbreaking. It broke my heart too.

But at least I now KNOW and LIVE IN the truth.

There is hope. There is another way. But it is a long and narrow way, and not all who find it enter in.

Please read the link.

Can you sum up in a nutshell that link you shared, as I really am not interested in diving into a fruitless debate regarding truth, only to come up with the same underlying tone each and every time.

And if you are able to sum up the motive to the philosophy shared in that link, I will show you how it contradicts truth and love.

It begins with a history of the development of the pagan Adonai-Jehova religion by the Hyksos elite (Levites) during their rule in Eygypt. It tells you about the way in which, hundreds of years later, they incorporated Eygyptian mythology and real Eygyptian events into their new book (Torah/OT) to create Judaism ... and thereafter Christianity.

It tells yo a lot more abot the bible that you really DO NOT want to know ... and probably won't judging from your response.

You see yourself as complete, and so have shut your mind down to dangerous, uncomfortable questions.

Fine with me.

We can search the scriptures all we like, looking for life in them, but they all point to Jesus Christ as being the giver of life.

We do not receive life from the scriptures alone, but we receive life when we hear from the scriptures that we can seek Christ Himself and receive life.

Christians only have a problem with Love when it falls short of the revelation of the love that is expressd in God through Christ.

So in reality, the problem is with what people have agreed, as to how love can be found in God without Christ.

I agree. I hang on Jesus' every word, because (sans the Roman agent Paul) he tells the truth.

But it's important to know where the fakers (Levites) got their religion from and to ask ourselves: Are they still using us? Because what they say ain't what they mean.

I agree that it is VERY important to know where the varies religions have their roots, but if we are looking to the roots of religion then we must go back to where thay all began in the first place...and that is in the garden of Eden, when Mankind choose to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and become his own god.

And the tree of knowledge of good and evil is the root and philosophy to all religions I have ever encountered. They all manifest their own paticular doctrine which consists of a explanation of godly character that they are to emulate in their actions. And the general consensus is that if they follow the rules and choose good they will be acceptable to God.

How is it possible for the tree that brought death, to ever have the ability to give life at the same time by heeding to its philosophy...

Like I said it always turns into sel-imposed religion and self-righteousness leading to hypocrisy, to those who prefer a standard of judgement to rule themselves by spiritually.

But is this EVEN a spiritual action they are doing? How can a set of rules to live by be anything spiritual?? rules and mans efforts to follow them have nothing to do with spirituality and are rooted in the flesh.

Paul talks of what the flesh is in this passage, and it is nothing more than trusting in our own abilities to be rightoeus before God by a set of rules or laws that we are compelled to follow...

"""For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself have reasons for such confidence.

If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless."""

and what is his response to all of these rules that he thought granted him acceptance before God??

"""But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith."""

Sorry, these words are not related. Jupiter comes from the Latin Iupater, Sky Father. Jehova was invented by a 15th Century German monk by combining the consonants YHVH with the diacritical vowel sigs from Adonai and is actually pronounced Yehowah. Amen, which means so let it be, is written amn in Hebrew, and although Amun, or Ammon, orAmen is also spelled amn in Egyptian, it is a proper name while. Adonai is a generic term meaning Lord and is used by Pharisees in place of the name of God, YHVH, because of their adherence to a Babylonian superstition that saying the name of a god would make them notice you and maybe punish you. Aton, or Aten, is also a proper name for the Sun disk, considered anothe manifestation of Ra.
