| Anonymous Coward User ID: 68528572  United States12/09/2015 11:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | its funny they had no prob drug testing all the people on probation, in jail, suspects, etc, however now they dont want to play by the same rules Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64875558 honestly im not too frustrated by this though, as the more backlash against drug testing the better when you have a 1 percent false positive rate and you are testing a nation of 300 million plus, that 1 percent becomes a very large number, and theres a shit ton of people getting screwed over wrongfully, and thats without even addressing the human margin of error. as a society, we need to do away with drug testing we have the constitutional right not to incriminate ourselves, how the fuck can anyone use our bodily fluids to incriminate ourselves the drug war is a complete joke We do in fact have a fourth amendment..however if an employer chooses to test..that is thier right as well..you can refuse and seek employment elsewhere. I understand the reasons for it as a preemployment procedure as well as for cause or reasonable suspicion.. But randoms are a bit invasive. And that goes for both private employers as well as LEOs..but don't blame testing on "The War On Drugs".. This has more do do with insurance companies as well as basic employers protecting themselves against loss,BS workers comp claims and other civil litigation... |

They should be able to pass a drug test especially being in their line of work. What's the matter flat foots afraid you might not pass. Hell yes they ain't gonna pass. How many times have they pocketed a lil bag of coke or Mary Jane. What about meth. I doubt heroin but who knows they refuse to test cause they know what their going to find. And I'm just going to make a huge guess prescription drugs they don't have a script for is going to by the biggest problem. Ocycodiene flexeril, ADDERALL, valium, XANAX. I SAY FIRE ALL THERE ASS & START OVER WITH MANDATORY DRUG TESTING AT RANDOM INTERVALS. |
