I'm curious what oils you're referring to. Eli quid is made of vegetable glycerine, propylene glycol, flavoring, and nicotine. Oils don't Vape very well.....

So, the stuff doesn't even cause Popcorn Lung in smokers, and they get 100 times the dose vapers get. Why is this being reported as news? It's not even worth mentioning, the levels are so low. So because 8 people got sick in the 90s, or a couple people with a modified e-cig blew themselves up, we're all just supposed to quit everything? Fuck that. I love nicotine. It chills me out when I'm stressed, and it picks me up when I need it. Since I quit smoking and started vaping, I almost never get sick, and when when I do, colds last 2-4 days, and are very mild compared to what they were when I smoked. I used to be sick for a week, and then have bronchitis for a month. None of that happens anymore. I'm healthier now than I was 15 years ago. Thanks, e-cigs.

I went out and bought myself an Aspire Atlantis tank and a couple batteries about one year ago or so. I have not looked back since. Not to fucking mention I can breathe again and my night time weezing is gone. Let them talk shit all they want.

Got that right. Other than the stories of a couple guys with souped up modified battery packs blowing themselves up, I have heard exactly zero stories of vaping killing anyone, and you know they're looking for those stories.

I agree this is propaganda, but I wouldn't label the whole site with that, though. There are hundreds of thousands of GLPers, and it only takes a couple vocal shills to change the tone of a thread. It can even be done by one AC with a few proxies and an agenda to make it look like there is a lot more support for something than there is. We've had plenty of e-cigs-will-kill-you threads over the last few years, and they are usually debunked very quickly.

Average tax on cigs is about 5 dollars a pack.
Assume 30 million packs a DAY.
= 150 million dollars a day in tax revenue.

X7= 1 billion 50 million dollars a week

X 52 = a lot of friggin money a year lost to ecig sales.

The money for medical for sick smokers is usually not paid by gov but by insurance companies. Everyone is out for their own interests.

Ecigs do have a risk. But they are orders of magnitude lower than traditional cigs.
Gov has a vested interest in you smoking cigs.
