Let's take this virus out to space, while we step over the poor to check our accounts on our way to church. God bless capitalism. And it's satanic pedo hierarchy. Amen. |

I'm a fan of Elon Musk and even more so since I've read his biography. The more continued successes of his launches, the better his dream of saving the human race by colonizing Mars. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60737588 Thanks for the info! So you want Humans to destroy mars too ? OPPS! we did that already ! eons ago , now when we fuck earth completely we will go back to mars & finish the job.. "Priceless" Are we screwd ! ~~~~ |

Most don't have sophisticated tracking equipment. Unfortunately I couldn't be there tonight. Had they gone on Saturday or Sunday I would have been. Suck on it faketards. You can even hear the sonic booms followed by the sound of the engines after the vehicle lands. Last Edited by Astromut on 12/21/2015 09:56 PM |

If so, how close was the crowd or did they watch it on a big screen? |

I choose that site because I can easily get my telescope and all my equipment to that spot. You can usually also view these things from the Saturn V site about 10 miles away. |

That's normal, the roar afterwards is the sound of the engines working. |

I stood inside the engine nozzle of that Saturn v they have on display, way back when I was just a kid. Got a photo of it too. |

Am I right Astro? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 36006719 Yup. Now the real question is going to be answered by this particular rocket; they will find out how much refurbishment it actually needs before flying again. Considering it doesn't use a huge complex heat shield made up of custom cut delicate tiles I expect the turnaround on the rockets will be much faster and cheaper to do than the shuttle once the "processing line" is fully up and running. |

A few years back I watched an unscripted tour Mr. Musk did of his facility, if anyone doubts this man knows every part of every rocket, well.... [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 589518 Moon landing? What a farce. Physics fail. Action/reaction. It doesn't need air to "push against." That's not how it works. Mass is being expelled from the rocket, it's in a vacuum and nothing is resisting its motion, so it HAS to move in the opposite direction of that mass or you violate the conservation of momentum.
