Oh poo poo
To you you

Ode to my desk

Scraps of paper,
Tattered, torn
Desktop scratched, showing worn.
Organization does not exist
No matter how hard you try to make it fit.
Bottom drawer stuck from kicking it shut.
Photos of friends, family and husband
Take up what little space you can clear when dusting.
your ancient old typewriter with the "r" that don't work
The phone whose receiver you're sure is a quirk
For it hangs up on clients when you've put them on hold
Then endlessly rings till you're tired and old.
Paper clips twist and dance in their little cup
And each paper you file gives you a nice little cut
The best part of my desk is when each day is done,
I tidy up things and go home to have fun.

He is risen indeed, seems very appropriate. I'm sure he would appreciate the positive words written here. It doesn't take much, to reach those in touch. The creative mind expands to limitless expansions only imagined. This next one is a bit advanced. I release to you that has acknowledged as my own. Not so much as poetry, but my own words of wisdom..
Transgressions perpetuate with profound abilities based on individuality and designation. Performance preceeded against actuality visualized from predetermined states. Realization recognized from senses gifted only optimized from emotional determination sanctified thru ones actions and decisions each individual accepts. Ending result depending upon decisive belief. Only appropriate outcome dependant through Faith.

I concur. I have another thread it has a long name, but if you look up "The Rainbow" the top one listed is mind (says anonymous coward but I now usually log in if I remember. You may appreciate it, and again you may not). Faith is all that we have in this fallen world, and others who are also filled with His Grace.

LOL This was actually a song that a boy in my 5th class wrote. He played his guitar and sang it. I still remember it after all these YEARS later. ;)

Nice, significance in the Rainbow is 7. I appreciate your outlook and Faith. Behind myths there is some truth. Interpreted by the observer. There are many, although still very few that do not like Rainbows, Unicorns, bright light. You can always tell those missing a core by their negativity towards the very things all knew while growing up. Things of happiness, beauty and clean.

Yes, yes, and yes. Rainbows are fine because they are God's creation and a warning, but not as what the modern purpose to which they've been put.
