Hugh Hewitt - Donald Trump -- The Triad Question at the debate

I had to ask my husband- I had no clue.

IT'S A TERM FROM THE EARLY 60'S

AND IT'S THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HEARD THE TERM USED SINCE THE EARLY SIXTIES

It was certainly the first time the term had been used this campaign cycle, nor has it even been an issue up until now.

So why ask a technical question to Trump, as opposed to one of the Senators who serves on a committee that would deal with this, unless you want to trip up Trump. Trump has said repeatedly that he has only been in politics a short time and is still getting up to speed on the technical aspects of many issues.

When you add in the claim that someone may have given Trump a hint -- perhaps an off hand statement that would not register with anyone, it is reasonable to think it was a setup.

And when you hear Hewitt say the race is between Rubio, Cruz and Christie -- which is just ridiculous -- you have to come to the conclusion that this was a set-up question...

Finally, when Hewitt himself keeps discussing this, and keeps asking Trump's opponents about it, allowing them to tee off on Trump, I think it is safe to call this TOTAL BULLSHIT.

BECAUSE IT WAS A SET UP QUESTION AND ISNT IT ODD THAT CRUZ KNEW THE EXACT ANSWER.

Trump long ago exposed Hewitt as an elitist stooge who spouts inside-the-Beltway jargon as he preens in the mirror. Nobody in the TV viewing audience knew the triad question either. Who cares?
