Tattoos have become such a stupid cliche.
Like small rat dogs.
Both are lame.

I have a full sleeve on my left arm.

Can any of you Einsteins tell me why I did it at age 48?

Very wise, OP.
Free speech is never free.

Well I know it wasn't you who held me down
Heaven knows it wasn't you who set me free
So often times it happens that we live our lives in chains
And we never even know we have the key - Eagles

I got one when I was 18. At 21 I was married and had a daughter. As she grew up and asked about it I told her to never get one. Or any piercings either.

Once she was 18 she got a tattoo and tried to hide it from me. She started dating a scumbag who was also a tattoo artist and musician. She got older and got more tattoos. We butted heads quite often. Usually very heated.

She quit having anything to do with me. She had CF. Almost died one Dec. When she finally got out of the hospital I convinced her to come visit.

She had some celebrity status and I asked her to hook me up with a tattoo artist in Austin. She did and I started having my sleeve done. We shared lots of pictures and conversations. We bonded again.

She died from CF a year later. If I hadn't given in I would have missed out on that time together.

I have no regrets.

All you self righteous critics have no clue.
