It could be said that the history of the diamond is that of the initiate The diamond is considered the most precious of all stones. And yet, in terms of its origin, what is a diamond? Carbon, ugly, black carbon which, by means of transformation under the effects of tremendous pressure and extremely high temperatures, becomes a diamond.
