I have been making and using it for about 15 years. Great for any cuts or burns. Works well on any skin weirdness. I don't drink it, do rinse mouth and take a sip for any mouth throat trouble. Have used a nebuliser few times to breath into the lungs, very effective.

Yes, and to be more accurate the solution you make with silver rods and 9v batteries is IONIC silver. The disadvantage of the 9v battery method is that as the conductivity of the water increases, the energy draw from the batteries also increases which causes silver oxide production to ramp up and for much larger silver particles to shed from the surface of the silver rods. You can't get much more than a 3-5ppm solution using this method without a LOT of silver oxide production which actually turns the solution dark yellow. People mistakenly think this is when the solution is a colloid, however it is just silver oxide suspended in water. Silver oxide is nowhere near as bioactive as silver ions.

A colloid is formed by adding a reducing agent to the ionic silver which causes the ions to clump together. This also turns the solution a darker yellow color, however this is due to the way the silver colloid disperses light. A silver colloid is also not as effective as ions suspended in water, which has been demonstrated in the laboratory.

The best way to get a good concentration (10-20ppm) ionic solution is to use agitation such as a stir bar and to use polarity switching so that an equal amount of silver ions are shed from the anode and cathode. There are kits that do this on the market, or if you have knowledge of electronics you can build it yourself fairly easily. Solutions past 20ppm are not practical because at higher concentrations the silver ions will begin to agglomerate (clump) and become much less effective.

The reason why people use colloidal (versus ionic) silver internally is because it is less reactive to the chloride ions in the digestive system. However, the bioactivity of colloidal silver is much less. Ionic silver is MUCH more effective, and I have read that nebulizing (inhaling) ionic silver provides a direct path to the bloodstream. I have a friend that does this who is a lung cancer survivor with only one lung. Had CHRONIC lung infections for years and years. When he started nebulizing ionic silver, his doc says his lung has never been so clear. No more infections.

I have used ionic silver on myself as well as my dog who got badly bitten by a german shepherd. Very nasty bite. I sprayed ionic silver on it twice a day for about 10 days. By the 10th day it was almost completely healed with no scarring. Can you believe that?

Ionic silver is also EXTREMELY effective against athletes foot and ringworm (same fungus, not on foot). Clears it up in about 2 days. If sprayed in the shower it will smell fresh for months.

I always keep at least 2 gallons of 20ppm silver on hand at all times.
