MARSHALL, Ark., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Police in rural Searcy County, Ark., are investigating the discovery of at least 60 dogs found shot to death.

I keep my little buddy by my side and if he has to go poo our yard is fenced in back so I wait for him finish!! Just can't trust some people now days!!

If you have dogs I suggest the following ideas as a starter:

If you have "beware of the dog" signs, get rid of them. If radicals start going around looking for dogs to poison, those signs will immediately tell them that there is a dog on the property.

I also suggest checking your yard for bits of meat etc lying around that you didn't put out.

This is an issue near and dear to many American hearts. We all love our pets and couldn't imagine someone doing this. It's not even making a blip on US' national news. The U.K., has it on one of their popular news sources. This wouldn't have anything to do with Obama administrations ban on reporting about muzzle bullshit? So sick and tired of this crap administration and thir muzzle love bullshit.

Everyone should have cameras monitoring their property. Only way to catch these bastards. It's best if they are hidden so they don't know they are being recorded.

my biggest concern, considering even china kills dogs for food, is that these buttfuckers didn't eat or bury their sport. that's messed up.

Heartbreaking news. I don't want to jump to conclusions on whom may be doing this...but in light of events occurring,and how some feel dogs are " unclean"...you get my drift. My heart breaks for the ones who lost their beloved furry family friends..Good advice given on cameras and watching for tasties tossed to our pets. Be alert,it will only get worse I'm afraid.

The dogs "do not appear to have been abused. Some were apparently given "sleeping pills' and then shot."
It may have been that some rural Good Samaritan Dog Rescuer died, and no one could take care of the dogs nor transport them, so that whoever was stuck with them decided to euthanize them in the easiest manner.

50 dogs is like the area of my 2 mile neighborhood. So miniscule it doesn't factor overall.

Someone is killing dogs in the Ozarks? I suppose if you were a sociopath with no common sense whatsoever, one that truly does not value their safety, you might kill a bunch of dogs in an area of the country that many will just as readily shoot you as shake your hand. An area that loves to hunt, and loves their dogs more than most of their family members.

Regardless of who is doing it, I'll bet we won't hear another word. And if the perp is identified by one of the affected, the only headline might be local...something like "Unidentifiable human remains found in Billy Joe's pig pen. Authorities unclear of cause."

Ar Kansas is a terrible place. Full of big Agriculture and other lobbied interests. Condolences to the hunters and fishermen there. The whole state isn't fuct, but what I've seen of it is embarrassing.
