Da plane...da plane..."Tattoo" was the first celebrity I ever met in life (Fantasy Island)

What a lot of people never knew of forgot was that the Herve Villachaize who played the wildly popular character of Tattoo in the 70's show Fantasy Island was a trained classical artist who in his early years was showcased at some of the most prestigious art galleries and museums in the world.

Also not know was that Herve donated a tremendous amount of time to fight for the cause of abused and neglected children in the Los Angles area.

At the time of his suicide it was said that although he was of small stature he had the internal organs of a regular size adult which caused him tremendous pain, so much so that at the end of his life he had to sleep In the kneeling position.
