I suggested that as a way to deal with hijackers.
It is, a transport type aircraft takes far more beating than a passenger before it breaks.
Did you know that astronuts train for zero gavity by doing that maneuver?
Did you know that that type of aircraft can be put on a steep dive and put it's engines in reverse and can still be controlled?
Oh and that was a passenger plane.
