What varies are the users' (power posessors) concept of the "bad". In America for example, the "bad" is the societal underbelly, made as large as possible through economic and cultural warfare, and through a regime of drug criminalization combined with covert drug supply. In places like China or Iran, the "bad" is free, developed, independent thought and the courage to behave, act, and speak from it. |
