tomorrow before dawn – January 7, 2016 – look for the slender waning crescent moon close to the planets Venus and Saturn in the eastern predawn sky. And know that Venus and Saturn are getting close! They’ll be closest on the morning of January 9, with a conjunction on January 9 at 0400 UTC. It’ll be their closest conjunction since August 26, 2006 (and the closest conjunction of any two planets since March 22, 2013).

Gill apparently thinks he can keep his "planet's" orbital elements secret so he can be the sole arbiter to dole out vague images of where to "look for it." Unfortunately for him, I was able to use the charts from his book to determine the orbital elements of his "Planet 7X." I then searched for it based on those elements over a wide are of the sky, covering the orbit far back in case it's farther off than he claimed it to be initially. Nothing's there.

I fed the results of my calculations of his orbit back into Starry Night, the software he uses for creating his charts and images. Sure enough the result matches his charts perfectly. As detailed in my first thread I left a bit of wiggle room to account for the limited accuracy of measuring based off of some low resolution images from his book. I searched a region that was bound by what I call the "nominal" orbit and an "alternate" orbit, and sure enough every time he releases an image showing where his planet would currently be in the sky it lands right within the bounds of my nominal and alternate orbit determinations. Your example is no exception:
