The Glenn Beck betrayal

I stopped listening to Beck for several reasons well almost two years ago so I can't comment on what he has been saying recently, but what Wild Bill says doesn't really surprise me. His constant over-the-top emotionalism was bad enough, but the guy went completely off the rails when he turned pro-homo and went to the border to meet the invading illegal aliens with teddy bears.

All the early years of drinking possibly made him unstable.
Something broke in his head.
Very sad really.

I like Glen and for the most part find him to be a righteous guy. But, in my heart I've always been suspect of Mormons.

I suppose it's an acquired prejudice that's based on experience and research...

...to be sure Mormons make good neighbors.

I seriously believe you are correct, ESPECIALLY the Libertarian connection.

Back in '08 Ron Paul was having rallies larger then donald trumps. The support for him was tremendous. Right before he became super popular I remember (around '07) Beck "converted" to the Libertarian movement and even issued an apology and "please accept me" speech to the Libertarian's in an attempt to gain our approval.

Now look at the Libertarian movement. Websites like the dailypaul.com are dead when just a few years ago they were bumping! In 2012 the Libertarian part almost hit 1% of the popular vote (highest ever I believe, with Gary Johnson no less). Then Beck started to become "trusted" in the scene and it has gone downhill ever since. I even had hardcore Libertarian friends try to convince me Beck was O.K. and I still remained super skeptical.

The man has literally gone from RINO, to UltraCon, to Libertarian within the last decade. He is a traitor and cannot be trusted.

Beck is a Baptized Roman Catholic. Always wondered why he'd leave the one true faith and become a Mormon and figured out the answer was "to make money and become very wealthy".

When he didn't support Romney, a fellow Mormon, one that is pretty well respected, I became suspect of Beck. Wonder if his church elders came down on him tough over that or if that's what they wanted him to do?

Haven't noticed Beck supporting Rubio or Paul. For a guy who claims to be libertarian, he never supported Ron Paul and takes every opportunity to knock his son, Rand.

I mean it's a little bizarre when he tells the audience that he was laying on one couch and Cruz was laying on the other, at his house, and that's when beck decided to support Cruz. A really weird scenario. But, then again, couches figure prominently in Cruz's life as the whole family is sitting on one when he showcases the wife and kids in that commercial where he's reading the story. That is one creepy commercial.

Sometimes wonder if the minions, those two mindless sidekicks who have a mean spirited streak not normally found in males, are running the show and beck answers to them and not them answering to beck.

Beck announced today that he's going to Puerto Rico over the weekend. he must have an agenda, wonder what it is?

My opinion is that he is a victim of "Chicago politics". Several years ago when he was digging up dirt and getting ready to expose it, I think he woke up with the proverbial horse head laying next to him. He is a family man. I firmly believe they got to him and gave him an ultimatum.

Beck sucks. But saying illegals will stop flooding our borders if the jobs they seek are removed? Is stupid. Most of them end up on welfare. They don't care if they work. Take away the job they wanted? So, what? They love that. Now they will just collect tax free income for life w/bonuses. The Trump Wall will happen. MX is already apologizing to Mr. Trump and inviting him to MX. He's already taken control of the problem. And will proceed as time progresses, and he's officially The President. MX is already treating him as such. So, The Wall is working already & it's not even built yet!

OH, it's worse. Just heard him say that trump changed his mind on the minimum wage and he is putting up all kinds of trade barriers. And, that he's going to collapse the economy case it is too fragile.

Now, I know that is total BS cause Trump is going to deal with whatever he finds once he get in there and it might not be what any of us think it is. So I trust Trump completely cause he knows what he is doing and where to get his advice.

But, then he segwayed into his buy gold commercial and I wanted to puke.
