Some people are liking the "world tribe anti-establishment" vibe though and looking for others. Sort of like what color of bandana is having out of your Jean pocket....a way to identify others with a similar mindset. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56867035 For sure! I guess i'm not part of the "in" crowd haha. |
Goldorak User ID: 39071320 Canada 01/08/2016 12:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm one of the only females left without tattoos and it makes me feel wonderful to know I haven't fallen prey to this trend. I love my beautiful skin just how it is, and so does my husband. He wouldn't let me get one even If I wanted lol. But seriously, women, you are so much more beautiful without them. When you get them, you're showing that you're insecure with your body and are a follower. When females brag to me about their newest tattoo (which usually looks like crap) I brag about being one of the only females left with no tattoos. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70427890 Woman with tatoos are ugly. ''They say woman riding horse is fun. A guy on a poney won't agree. '' - a cowboy. |

chrono_ User ID: 71136259 United States 01/08/2016 12:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | most people who get tattoos think they are being unique and/or rebelling. only problem is that they are simply conforming to a sub-group. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60287192 *giggles* Not in my case. I'm male but I feel like I should weigh in on this subject anyway. I got a viking rune tattoo on my upper shoulder to honor my ancestors. My reasoning for my tattoo is personal. I couldn't care less what people think about me for it. I can cover it up if I ever need to. 99% of the time I'm in public my tattoo is covered. I didn't get a tattoo to fit in OR to be rebellious, I simply like the way it looks. Last Edited by chronologic on 01/08/2016 12:26 PM |

Us women work so hard at having beautiful healthy skin and they go and graffiti on it. Tattoos disgust me. I look around and see nearly every young girl covered in them. It's such a shame. I am so proud to be right there with you. We are special!! Come quickly Lord Jesus. Maranatha |

Same here to in Canada, the small tattoos are ok epsically ones you can hide, but the majority just look like skanks with them all over there body, bunch of sheeple followers, want to be original now, dont get one, that is original. |

People form sub-cultures to rebel, only to conform to a different set of standards. ...Loving souls, starving trolls... |

The hipster & trendy attitude is great for the "spooks"; like Facebook, it is completely voluntary! When folks are arrested all tats, significant scares, etc. are recorded in the national database along with fingerprints, facial recognition photos and some biometrics. How's that herd thinking? Its no different than the clothing you wear of your fav team, band, etc. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66466878 It is different because I don't wear band or team tees. I'm not a follower, lol. Why not just paint the picture or symbol you're thinking of getting tattooed, and hang it on your wall, or make a bumper sticker for your car out of it? Why put it on your body? |
chrono_ User ID: 71136259 United States 01/08/2016 12:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't agree that getting a tattoo is being a conformist. Also, there is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to fit into a group. It is different because I don't wear band or team tees. I'm not a follower, lol. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70427890 I notice that you speak the English language. You're just doing the same thing as everyone else so you can fit into the group. What a conformist. This especially makes people who have not made the same choice sheep and part of the herd because they are not a special snow flake like you. Get the fuck out with your shit elitist attitude. Clinging to you identity through ego only serves to damage the soul and separate you from the whole. One could say youre insecure because you have to post on others action that do not effect you. |

On a woman, a little tatt (like a flower or something like that) on her shoulder or ankle can be cute. But chicks with bigger tats on their arms or backs or boobs, etc. generally don't even look feminine. I don't get the whole attraction of tattoos, anyway. |
