I think it has to do with the city of Seattle tacking on extra taxes of guns and ammo. The state and county (sales tax) already taxes guns and ammo. But if you buy in the city limits, Seattle wants more tax. I don't know really, but laws exist that a product can only by taxed so many times. Also something about the fed govt and states are the only ones that can change or make new fire arm laws, not individual cities. Then again, I could be wrong about that too. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |
