Anyone notice paranormal things in a half asleep state?

There are multiple threads on sleep paralysis here at GLP.

I've experienced some odd things during SP, but nothing paranormal really. Many others have!

Sometimes the second I fall asleep I will be startled awake by a creak..probably coincidental though.

I saw a little girl next to my bedside once, I don't freak out cause I'm worried about the living not the dead... But it's still creepy... Wonder if our brains are wired to see crap in that state.
