Im not against buying properties, but there will be yearly taxes, and upkeep. It's a lot of work to own properties or real estate. You have to do something with the land.

My parents own properties. They mow many yards, and have many lawn mowers, one for each property.

Maybe after the market corrects when gold is $400/oz you could buy gold and make a few, but that is unlikely because then we will have a new currency - cashless.
