If Steven Harper won the election last fall...

He would be blamed for the Canadian $ crash right now by the media - but because Turdhole won, they say nothing.
In fact some are still trying to blame Harper even though he's not in office.
Canada was the top performing G20 nation these last bunch of years and got through the world wide melt down in 2008 fairly easily because Harper didn't spend spend spend like Obama and most liberal first world govts on the planet.
