why is the Dow up when Shanghai was down ?

There is a fed meeting tomorrow... so people are smoking their "hope"-ium. Hoping for more free money to be injected into their veins. But I'm guessing it won't happen and the Fed will say a lot of nothing. The volume today should be low as the big trading banks wait to hear from the Fed.

There is not much they can say or do to prop up the stocks for much longer...
