By my count, based on a series of conversations with investment bankers, there are probably at least another dozen deals of meaningful size being negotiated in the pipeline. Feds foresee $30 trillion debt, blame looming tax hikes and Obamacare

The federal government will be flirting with $30 trillion in debt within a decade, the Congressional Budget Office reported Monday, blaming an aging population, new spending and tax cuts approved on Capitol Hill, and the growing burden from Obamacare for erasing the progress Washington had made over the past few years.

It's way more than that.
When Obama took office the debt was well UNDER $10T.
It's almost $19T now and the clock stopped for 3 months last fall and for 2 months before that.

The Unfunded Liabilities currently sit at over $100 Trillion.
That is more than 10 times the value of all the gold ever mined in the history of man kind. 10 TIMES!!
On this date in 2008 - the national total Unfunded Liabilities were $86T - an increase of $14T under Obama.
In 2008 the debt PER CITIZEN was calculated as $164k.
Today this value is over $200k per citizen.
All these values can be reviewed at the US National Debt Clock.
The actual numbers are worse than this because the clock was stopped twice under Obama's admin.

Politicians make promises all the time, then they break them. If a fund manager took your money said they will pay you 25%, then reduce it to 20%, then 15%, then 5%, then say it is theirs, isn’t that FRAUD?

Socialism has been the bribing of the population and it has been the worst side of democracy – the denial of equal protection of the law based upon wealth. Earn more than someone else and you are evil and they cheer politicians who say they will go rob them legally and give it to you. This is no different than racism or denying equal protection to any group based upon gender, creed, ethnicity, or association of some kind. So yes, the people voted for politicians based upon greed and being bribed. Socialism even violates the Ten Commandments – thou shalt not covet their neighbor’s goods. How can you pretend to go to church on Sunday and then justify robbing others under cloak of good intentions called SOCIALISM?

America is in big trouble. Socialism seems to be the new buzz word. But socialism is welfare of the masses.
Welfare is warfare. It is a warfare on the hearts and minds of those who accept it. It robs them of their ability to contribute to their fellow man. It turns them into a weight that must be borne by those still competent enought to fight the good fight. It is a submission to inferiority, an embrassing of destitution. It serves no purpose other then to destroy those who accept it and burden those who for whatever reasoning allow it to exist.
Liberal policies though possibly well meaning cannot be enforced by law. For laws are enforced by governments, and thousands of years of experience teach us that government is competent in only one thing, theft. Theft of property, theft of liberty, theft of spirituality, theft. This is not to say that charity does not have it place, lending a hand to those in need is truly a noble gesture. But that gesture must be voluntary, driven by the good nature of ones friends and not the iron fist of ones government.

Freedom will come back to america only when the entitlement mentality has fallen upon the sword of liberty.
