Then again it could very well be the Big Guy upstairs calling you out on something.

Thank you, it was kind of scary as it was so clear, I sat straight up in bed. I was too stunned to answer the voice... Maybe it was just a dream... If it happens again then it will have my full attention!

I did a couple weeks ago for the first time. I kept saying what getting pissed and woke my wife up cause I thought it was her. It was odd cause it was plain as day and loud, not a whisper.

Same hear, it sounded like someone shouted my name from in the same room.... Has it happened since?

No. There was no mistaking it though. It was voiced like I was needed but I don't know.

Normally I would never hear Mum here, I would really know someone was using that voice to head crap. It just something you hear sometimes, almost like a recording of a different time. I hear my own husband saying things, but when I answer, he is asleep and it was not him. His voice but not him at that time. He hears me sometimes and yes it is strange.

I have had this happen a few times in my 50 years. It does kinda leave you numb for the day.

Last time it happened my alarm had not gone off and I was pushing being late for a very important morning meeting.

I suspect it was my internal clock combined with my concentration on the meeting preparation the day/night before.

But as a Christian, I still gave God the props for making the meeting on time and winning the contract.

The dream world can reek havoc on your daily life if you let it.

Don't let it....if I told you half the dreams I've had this past week you'd sleep with your lights on.

It has happened to me on many occasions.

yes, this has happened several times.

As of late i have mostly had hands placed on me that woke me up. It always feels so real that i have to look around the room to see if someones there, i have even had a hand grab my but last week. I know it sounds weird but i wonder if it is something that isn't just psychological from a dream state.

Freaks me out every time.

A wake up call to get you to seek beyond the obvious.

2 One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. 3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. 4 Then the Lord called Samuel.

Samuel answered, “Here I am.” 5 And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”

But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down.

6 Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”

“My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.”

7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.

8 A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”

Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”

Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

11 And the Lord said to Samuel: “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle. 12 At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end. 13 For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God,[a] and he failed to restrain them. 14 Therefore I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.’”

15 Samuel lay down until morning and then opened the doors of the house of the Lord. He was afraid to tell Eli the vision, 16 but Eli called him and said, “Samuel, my son.”

Samuel answered, “Here I am.”

I get woke up once in a while with my mom or one of my siblings calling my name. It is weird because I dont live with any of them. Sometimes, its a loud knocking - like this morning.

I moved to this old farm house last year and every now and then I get woke up to an unknown mans voice.

Happens all the time. Especially right before drifting off to sleep. Then your eyes are fully open like the voice you heard was loud and clear. I also will hear slamming doors or a door open, creaking loudly like my own door does.

I have been reading some spiritual books past few nights, maybe that has something to do with it!!

Well my grandma had passed away that day but it was in my wife's voice.

Funny that you should mention that. It happened last night. I heard my name loud and clear and thought it was my boyfriend as he has done this before. I called out "what" three times and got no response.
This irked me a little so I got up and went looking for him. He was on the other side of the house asleep in his chair in front of his computer. It bothered me a little as I could have sworn it was him.
I'm not one who remembers dreaming much, but last week I awoke after calling on Yahweh to help me when a black form tried to hold me down. It was difficult to speak at first and it barely came out of my mouth. I just kept repeating it and my voice got louder and louder and the shadow disappeared.
I had been reading about others experiences with this kind of thing so don't know if that had anything to do with it. Never had that kind of thing happen before. And hope I never have it happen again.
Used to think people who claimed those kinds of things were crazy. Not so sure anymore.

The voice was very clear and it was a woman's voice. not a yell, just perfectly clear and very sweet as well.

Wow, it's a little trippy how it happened to both of us the same way. I've been trying to get to know God better so maybe this was a nudge in that direction...... It sounded like my kids father but it definitely wasn't him.
