'It's not funny, Mr. Shkreli': Drug exec grins before Congress

WASHINGTON—Embattled drug entrepreneur Martin Shkreli — who vigorously defended his decision to hike the price of a life-saving drug from $13.50 to $750 — suddenly went silent Thursday at a Congressional committee, smirking and grinning instead of answering questions.

Before you believe the media and why this guy laughed, watch what he has to say.

Pharma taking the profits and storing them in offshore banking, hence not paying billions in taxes.

Eat that.

He's laughing because if it were the companies sitting where he was, they wouldn't get any penalties like he is receiving now. I feel him, even though he did this but its to show how the system sucks. fuck the system.

Re: 'It's not funny, Mr. Shkreli': Drug exec grins before Congress
I found the fact that his prior defense attorney raised his fees 5000% very appropriate and fitting justice.

Maybe that wasn't enough.

"Minutes after Shkreli’s arrest on charges of securities fraud, the attorney, Harland Dorrinson, announced that he was hiking his fees from twelve hundred dollars an hour to sixty thousand dollars.

Shkreli, who reportedly received the news about the price hike while he was being fingerprinted, cried foul and accused his attorney of “outrageous and inhumane price gouging.”
“This is the behavior of a sociopath,” Shkreli was heard screaming."

Still ridicule one man for trying to make a profit and to make an example, but the real criminals are the REAL psychopaths laughing their asses off.

I don't believe he was trying to 'prove' anything. Just a con that got caught, and any deflection he can come up with, he'll use. Cons turn on other cons when the gig is up. So what if others do it? He's no better. Had he not been caught, he'd probably still be doing it. Fuck him and the rest of the 'pharma bros'.

I think what most of us don't like to acknowledge is that there is a value on human life. We really need to be governed by ET's.
