Anonymous Coward User ID: 58169931 United Kingdom 02/08/2016 07:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok good people, So I'm in the market for a George foreman type grill....I'm on my own but want a four portion machine that would do two toasties at a time plus I like to have options....So any recommendations on a good machine ? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71423506 I seen some Panini presses on fleabay for under £20, Whilst there are other 3 in 1 machines to consider too. I have a budget of around £30 and don't want to buy something only to see I could have had something better. Cheers in advance. Just buy a normal frying pan , dont buy in to new age gimmicks |

Just buy a normal frying pan , dont buy in to new age gimmicks I used a George foreman grill at my ex's to make the kids burgers and was impressed with the time it took plus all the fat that came out...plus I was able to do fried onions and put cheese on the burgers too, and it just seemed a lot easier than doing in a frying pan. But thanks for the input |

I see them in thrift stores all of the time if you are looking for a cheap used one. They really get that grease out (much healthier) which is so much better than a pan and they cook quick. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12688276 you are talking bullshit foremans grill turns a juicy steak in to a dry piece of cardboard |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12688276 Not so. Saturated animal fats are essential for good health, which is why people should use butter and not marg, and eat geasy burgers (made with good meat of course) for example. |

Grease is good for you, it makes the meat taste good. You don't want all the grease to run out. Foreman "grill" is ok for making grilled cheese sandwiches, that's about it. And even a grilled cheese is better fried in butter in the frying pan.. |
