A good sheriff who on the day of the news briefing about the shooting one sheriff was noticeably upset .. a young man with dark brown hair. then there was another sheriff who helped set the whole assassination up by inviting the protestors to John Day.. which is which? I just finished listening to an hour long interview of him in which he tells his side of the story. I will post it for those interested. I may be very wrong, but I feel like he did not know about it beforehand. During that long night after LaVoy was shot, I was listening to some live stream. It was said in a comment by a woman caller that they had a witness and he was on the other side. I have no idea if this could be Sheriff Palmer, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I've also seen a FB posting or twitter where someone said that Sheriff Palmer was at the meeting in John Day when they got the news that something was going down. It was said that he looked upset and left immediately. I have not yet watched the video posted on the other thread and that might change my mind. Planning to watch it this evening.
