Very smooth talker. Lost me immediately YEARS ago, following Hurricane Sandy. Perhaps someone else might recall how he and Obama stroking one another while the residents of NJ and NY affected by the storm were left hanging to dry. I'm not sure the region has ever even fully recovered.

IMPOSSIBLE to succeed as a Republican, let alone a conservative, in NJ. Unless your blowing the union bosses and pandering massively to the "disenfranchised." Meaning liberals and the droves of voters they've overwhelmingly brainwashed.

There's an article somewhere that said Christie had a ling phone conversation with Trump after the NH results were announced.

When he talked about using the Federal government to over ride individual states decisions to sell marijuana to the public, I totally lost all respect for him.

He was talking about putting people in jail, fines, etc. etc. I'm SOOOOOO sick of these blowhards trying to impose their morality on everyone.

The real issue here, his announcement still isn't going to save all the doughnuts. No one every cares about the doughnuts.

Christie did not do well enough in New Hampshire.

He did not qualify for the GOP South Carolina Debate.

If he does that he better watch his back, Reagan capitulated and took Bush on as his VP and got shot in an attempt on his life for his trouble...

I was born/raised in Jersey and still have family there. Christie talks a good game but he's done so much damage to Jersey. My brother-in-law will have less work this year because of Christie's budget mismanagement and then there was the bridge fiasco. Yeah, bye bye Christie.

Doubtful. Christie's supporters will likely move to Rubio and Bush. Not enough to change the game, but a slight uptick in momentum for each of them.

Trump is an enigma in this campaign. It is very likely that he has already hit his top. So as other candidates drop out, people will start looking at the remaining candidates who are not named Trump. He actually benefits from more people sticking around.

Christie does.

This is actually quite sad. You see the more in the republican race the more delegates Trump can easily win.

You see, they need 15% on local and state levels to earn delegates. Under performers dilute the pool, earn low percentages of votes, and send the delegates upward to folks like Trump.

Plus, their voters can realign with say RubiO OR cRUZ. which in turn will push them above the 15% statewide threshold to earn more delegates.
