If misfortune happens in threes.... IVE FILLED MY QUOTA

Hear that Universe?? Hear that God?? Quit messin with me.. IVE HAD IT

Event 1

Early this month, I find out that my best friend is suddenly, and uncontrolably, into Oxycotin.. For those who dont know, it is basically synthetic heroin and is highly addictive. It took him from a comfortable financial situation where he ran his own business, had a nice vehicle, a place to live and a padded savings account, to nothing in less than a month. He is now in debt some 20K and having to live at home with his folks...
Good news though, he will be OK.

Event 2

Went through a tough fight with someone who is perhaps the most important person in my life. Our differnces finally manifested in a terrible argument that has left us on very limited speaking terms... I hate it, and cant change it... This broke my heart.

Event 3 :4:

My room mate decides he is going target shooting and decides to take our dogs, his dog and mine. Well, conveniently enough, my dog is now missing and there is no sign. Been missing since Thursday of last week. Unfortunately she was lost in the back of a canyon about 15 miles from home. In an unfamiliar place, first time around guns.. Thanks for watching my dog, LIKE I ASKED YOU TO COLBY!!!

Hindsight always being 20/20, I see easily how I could have prevented, or lessened <sp> the impact on my life.

"A lesson learned today, is a problem prevented tomorrow.."

Lesson one - If you see warning signs in a friends life, TAKE ACTION.. I could have helped him.

Lesson two - NEVER attach yourself to someone. People are VERY UNPREDICTABLE. No matter the promises made and no matter the person.

Lesson three - NEVER trust YOUR responsibilities to some one else. Especially your animals...



BTW, my dog is still missing so your prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts are welcome..
