Maybe check out some religious/spiritual/meditation retreats. Sometimes they take in people that will work for there stay and help out. Even if you don't entirely agree with their way of thing, you can do your spiritual practices, contemplation, and meditation. It might work out for you.

Op there is only one problem with what you are doing, and that is, you cant depend on others to support you. Every one of us in this world has to work to eek out a living, and yeah it would be nice to not have to worry about it so we could all "find ourselves", but that is not fair to the rest of society.
