Quoting: Anonymous Coward 38696865 Shame is a necessary emotion, as are ALL emotions. It exists to tell us something...that were doing something WRONG! I'm so fucking tired of all this relativistic moralism in our society, which is especially prevalent within modern-day liberalism, that tells us that we are not to experience "shame" under any circumstance whatsoever. All this bullshit about "fat shaming," "slut shaming," etc., and all this other ridiculous vernacular that tries to brainwash society into thinking that all bad behavior is somehow virtuous and how dare anyone criticize it... It's total BULLSHIT!!!! I feel sad for the upcoming generations who will have no sense of right or wrong anymore, because "society" tells us we should not "shame" anyone for any bad behaviors whatsoever! Fuck that shit, you whiney assholes...people DESERVE to feel shame...and there's a REASON for it!!! |

I set up a simple experiment at Yale University to test how much pain an ordinary citizen would inflict on another person simply because he was ordered to by an experimental scientist. Stark authority was pitted against the subjects' [participants'] strongest moral imperatives against hurting others, and, with the subjects' [participants'] ears ringing with the screams of the victims, authority won more often than not. The extreme willingness of adults to go to almost any lengths on the command of an authority constitutes the chief finding of the study and the fact most urgently demanding explanation. Ordinary people, simply doing their jobs, and without any particular hostility on their part, can become agents in a terrible destructive process. Moreover, even when the destructive effects of their work become patently clear, and they are asked to carry out actions incompatible with fundamental standards of morality, relatively few people have the resources needed to resist authority.[3]" Quote from : Anonymous Coward 1000637 Just because YOU don’t believe in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No ! Even the mentally ill can control themselves. If they cannot, then they should be locked up. It's a shame for society to let people run around who cannot control their bad behavior. That's not appropriate. Most fat people are fat because they eat too much and do too little. There are a lot of very fat people and everyone used to know that eating too much is a deadly sin-meaning that it will take your life. That is not new knowledge. It is wrong for people to be really fat. Men who have sex outside of marriage deserve to be shamed as well. So do women. This is a violation of our society and it is bad for everyone involved. Shame is a means of keeping people from doing things that are damaging to themselves and to society at large. The more we get away from shaming people, the further degraded our morality. Are there some situations where a person can't help themselves? Yes. But, people are capable of learning to behave themselves and if you have no social control, no discipline, then they are let go to destroy themselves. That is what is happening in current society. If only their idiot parents had not bought into liberalism and actually taught them something eh? The state of the children is a direct result of the bullshit fairy land the parents of the 80's fed to everyone. Blame them, they are the assholes in politics, they are the assholes who ignored their kids to do cocaine and watch tv. They are BY FAR the most absolutely useless employees I have, and the most annoying investors I am forced to work with. I pretty much swear off anyone over 50 these days they are total fuck witts that hate on their own kids that they ignored. I find that interestingly enough, the ratio of useless ass 50 year olds is PRETTY DAMN PROPORTIONAL to the rate of useless ass millennials. The difference is I don't see the millennials screwing each other over for a 0.5% profit share. |
