Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1432559 Pretty sure the Russian meteor incident was around the same time of year as now. Yup, I checked the number of fireball reports on the site in Feb 2013 and it was only in the 800s. But not many reports from Russia go to this website. Most reports come in from the US, with France appearing to be in second. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 71499688 United Kingdom 02/18/2016 04:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "During the upcoming March 5 flyby, asteroid 2013 TX68 could fly past Earth as far out as 9 million miles or as close as 11,000 miles The variation in possible closest approach distances is due to the wide range of possible trajectories for this object, since it was tracked for only a short time after discovery" -JPL.nasa.gov The spirit of this world deceives. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 71530076 United States 02/23/2016 08:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | searched it a bit, the most reports from August on we had in Nov with 3607 reports. But we talk about reports and not events, which means that some events have more reports than others Thanks for searching, I would not know what to look for. How do you think they knew about this if no one saw it, and why would they report something nobody saw right now? The one from the 6th that blew up over Atlantic I mean. |
