The roof signifies celestial,heavenly,aka spiritual meanings.
If a roof was a person,you can consider a roof the head.Jesus is the head of the church.

Now look at the two witnesses in Revelation,look at the 144,000 in revelation.

Can you see the connection?the spiritual meaning behind all this,that goes back all the way into the OT?

The two witnesses strengthen the church in Revelation(the wall) with their prophesying.

The two witnesses and the 144,000 go together.

Not only that,Rahab the Prostitute asked that they save her,and her family,and those who are theirs.
The two witnesses say "our lives for your" just like the two witnesses in Revelation.
They even say that they will be blameless in the eyes of the Lord to swearing that oath.The bible says she lives among the Israelites to this day.They left the scarlet rope there she those who are theirs can escape.

And they escape in Revelation.
