This is the usual list, but it's filled with problems. I'm sure that doesn't bother you, since you are a true believer, and if that works for you, fine. But for someone who hasn't just accepted the tale because of tradition, none of the above is very compelling.

It's still the case that there is no contemporary evidence for the existence of a historical Jesus. The gospels are written decades after he was supposed to have lived, so they don't count. Josephus and Tacitus are problematic in that the first is a forgery and doesn't jibe at all with Jospehus' attitude towards the many messianic figures around during his day. Tacitus is also long after the period Jesus is to have lived and is just repeating the Christian line, so it cannot be said to be primary evidence.

Beyond tradition, there is no evidence of any of the apostles, and for that matter, except for John, James, and Peter, none of them are even mentioned in the epistles. Nor, for that matter is anything about the life of Jesus or any of the tales that come later in the gospels.

Judaism is just as phony as Christianity as are all religions.

The circumstancial evidence alone is pretty overwhelming, you have to admit that. Writing analysis has placed fragments of Luke's gospel within the decade immediately after Jesus death.

For those that don't want to believe, or have never read the scriptures, I can't and won't ever be able to convince them.

For those who believe parts of scripture but dent Christ, there are questions they need to answer.

Genesis 49:1 0: "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet until Shiloh
comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people." Shiloh is one of the places in which the Ark of the
Covenant dwelt, but it became an appellative for the Messiah in Judaism. Every tribe of Israel had its own tribal
staff, a scepter, with the tribe's name inscribed upon it. This represented judicial power. The removal of the
scepter, therefore, occurred when Herod the Great - a non-Jew - became king and the Sanhedrin had its power
limited; these things both happened during Jesus' lifetime. The name 'Shiloh' is the name of the Messiah,
according to the Talmud, Sanhedrin 98 b.

According to the prophecy of Genesis 49:10, the Messiah had to have come prior to the removal of the scepter
from Judah. Therefore, either the Messiah has already been and gone or God lied. God cannot lie; so whoever
the Messiah was, according to the Talmud He had to have already come at that point. Again, the Talmud
mentions how 40 years before the destruction of the Temple the Sanhedrin was moved from the Hall of the hewn
stones to a place outside; you may read this in 41a and in the Avodat Zerah 8b. Whoever
The Messiah is, He had to come and die prior to 70AD/CE.

Maybe the people who wrote the New Testament had access to the writings in the Old Testament so they created a messiah to go along with the OT. That is why we have so many different stories in the gospels.

In reality there never was a man who was born of a virgin or rose from the dead. This defies the laws of nature so we know by reason and common sense that this is a mythical story.

Since we know that the gospels were not written by Matthew, Mark, Luke or John and the gospels were written years after this Jesus character supposedly lived, we know that they were creating this mythical character to go along with what they read in the Old Testament.

This is why no one knows the actual birthday of Jesus and they assigned him the birthday of the God Horus who was said to be born on December 25th. Easter is named after the goddess Ishtar who was said to have risen from the underworld after three days. You won't find a biography of Jesus in a history book because he is a myth.

I agree with you that you won't be able to convince those who haven't read the scriptures, but even for those of us who have, the circumstantial evidence isn't nearly as overwhelming as you believe. I used to believe it was as well because I never investigated it. But having read fairly extensively the pros and cons of the case, I had to admit that the case against his being a historical figure is far greater than the case for it. Without the need to believe because of doctrine and tradition, I just don't see anything compelling in the actual evidence as it stands. But the evidence against is strong.

Jesus never existed I guess if you are willing to ignore the fact that there are graves for his entire family and many experts now believe to have even found Jesus' burial place aswell... There are so many writings of Jesus aswell. There is just as much evidence for the existence of Jesus as there is Sparticus.

Since the meaning of Christ and Messiah is 'Anointed One', He/She exists...not past tense, present times.

Do you think that's a physical oil, poured over the head of the 'Anointed One'? I say nay.

The anointing is within. It's found by rising above the flesh, rejecting the game which is being played in this Matrix, turning away from this world (it's a corpse) and finding the Spirit within.

When we activate our pineal gland/3rd eye Chakra, it literally secretes oil...hence, head is anointed since the pineal gland is found in our head/brain. We activate our Chakra energy by 'igniting' our Kundalini Serpent Power, and that's done through prayer and meditation. Giving up the lies of this world and discovering the truth...that we are spiritual and that this world doesn't nurture the spirit. Fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, and I believe that it's forced on us in our water, at the Dentist, in our toothpaste, because the Machine doesn't want Mankind figuring out that this Matrix is a lie.

When we turn away from the fears shoved down our throat, quit being a slave to their fiat money system, sit still and figure out that we can find an higher Christ Consciousness through prayer and meditation, then we defeat the machine. In the days of David, the 'machine' was referred to as a 'Giant.' David defeated the giant with a stone. The pineal gland is called the stone/rock.

Revisit the Biblical usage of the words rock/stone. Substitute them with the higher Christ Consciousness, 3rd eye Chakra/pineal gland, and you will see the Bible is speaking of an Higher Consciousness.

In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestles with a man. That man is himself/his flesh. He climbs Jacobs Ladder/the 33 vertebra of the Backbone of Man, the Kundalini serpent power, the Chakra energy is activated. That's Jacob's Ladder. He named the place Peniel or Pineal gland. He became enlightened/Anointed. When this happens, when he became anointed or enlightened, his name was changed to Israel.

That means that Israel is NOT as State. It's a State of Mind. An anointing, an enlightenment. Hence, the Children of Israel are enlightened, anointed and don't necessarily have to be direct descendants to be enlightened.

The living God is the Higher Collective Christ Consciousness as taught by Jesus the Christ. Where Christ isn't a last name, it's a description of being anointed by oil secreting from an activated pineal gland.

When the pineal gland is dormant, it is a sandy substance. That's the metaphor of building your house upon a rock (activated pineal gland), or building your house upon the sand (dormant pineal gland).

Another parable about the virgins with the lamps and the oil. The lamps are our heads, the oil is secreted from the pineal gland.

If you re-read the Bible with these things in mind, you will see how the references are to higher consciousness and not to physical/literal or material places are described.

There is a school of thought in academe that takes this view you are putting forth. They view the gospels as midrash, a recasting of OT incidents. That Jesus was a construction of the OT is also supported by Paul, who explicitly states that Jesus is a product of personal revelation and the OT.

This is why he allows for no differentiation of his experience of Jesus and the other apostles. He insists he is just as much an apostle as they are because he, too, had a revelation of Christ. And since the gospels had not been written yet, there is no sign of the gospel Jesus anywhere in the epistles. He just doesn't exist yet.

You should thank him, he put you on the map. Judea was the pits of the Roman Empire, if it wasn´t for Jesus you would probably still be milking goats.
