If we could afford private health care then yes I would pay for it and not be on state insurance. We don't have any kids, we think there are already too many in the world, before Obama care changed some rules to make more people be able to get health care we had no insurance for many years, and year and years of me working like a dog and the companies I worked for screwing me out of any insurance because they gave me just under the amount of hours required to be covered by them. I agree it's not right for people to take advantge of the system, but what alot of people don't think of is the working class who is still poor. The free sh*t being given out will come from a tax put on the extremely rich, whitch I will never be, that is where the money will come from, how about cut the military funds? I would rather have every person in the USA not be hungry and have insurance then have our troops over seas, that does nothing for us the people. We the people want Bernie because he has been fighting for equality his whole life, he is the only one who will make a change for us. I've been married over 20 years and have always had health insurance prior to Obamacare, even though we are both in good health and have been to the doctor maybe 3 to 5 times over that 20 years. Because I am self-employed and have a fluctuating income, our premiums under Obamacare would be $800-$900 / month with a $7000 deductible so we said screw it, we are now without coverage. The knife cuts both ways. For every one in your situation with a chronically sick family member who needs insurance, there is a healthy family like us who has lost their coverage. My question to you is, this nation has accumulated almost $20 TRILLION in debt over the past 20 years so obviously there is no correlation between federal revenue levels and federal spending levels. What the hell makes you think that taxing the rich a few billion / year is going to make a dime's worth of difference in the level of spending? I've busted my ass since I graduated high school and have never taken a dime from the government. I DON'T WANT "EQUALITY" with people who won't lift a finger to improve themselves!!!!! I don't want "equality" with some chickenshit college puke who has never produced a thing of value or employed a single person in their lives. I don't want "equality" with someone who spends their entire existence on the dole while I get up 6 days a week to run my business. I feel for your situation but taken to fruition, what you are proposing is completely and totally unsustainable, at least if you expect the few of us still working to "pay" for it.
