The Under-Reporting of Fukushima

We are assured that “nuclear power is safe,” and some environmentalists classify nuclear power as green. Fukushima is a massive problem for these spurious claims.

Consider also that in the event of nuclear war, which would knock out power, each nuclear power plant would be converted into a nuclear bomb as the cooling system would cease to function.

If you are an insane person and think nuclear war can be won, you need to read this:

I the Counterpunch link above, they talk about how Fukushima produce, to show Japan that it's "safe," is being given to KIDS in their SCHOOL LUNCHES! Sick bastards!

There is, in my Opinion, no underreporting about Fukushima!

A nuclear Power Station is not a nuclear Bomb,
totally different Dynamics!

In a War there are better and more destructive Targets.

How do you come out of the woodwork every time a Fukushima post is made within minutes? Have you built some sort of alert system?

Yip, you want to buy it?

But back to the Topic:

do you know the difference between a nuclear Bomb and a nuclear Reactor?

What inspired you to build such an alert system? Tepco money?

I think that the reporting of the situation is mostly accurate and honest. They may have hidden things or lied in the beginning of the crisis but only because it was in the best interests of the population.

A lot of this is because...you know...its TEPCO (the heartless, faceless, soulless mega-corp) and the Nuclear (a word and technology that inspires fear and suspicion) and The Simpsons certainly helps.

From Chernobyl, as of 2010, the Belarus national academy of sciences estimates 93,000 deaths and 270,000 cancers, and the Ukrainian national commission for radiation protection calculates 500,000 deaths.

Data proves Fukushima has exceeded Chernobyl in radiation release - [link to www.naturalnews.com]

 Quoting: Voluntarist

The environmental impacts of the nuclear accidents of Chernobyl and Fukushima are compared. In almost every respect, the consequences of the Chernobyl accident clearly exceeded those of the Fukushima accident. In both accidents, most of the radioactivity released was due to volatile radionuclides (noble gases, iodine, cesium, tellurium). However, the amount of refractory elements (including actinides) emitted in the course of the Chernobyl accident was approximately four orders of magnitude higher than during the Fukushima accident. For Chernobyl, a total release of 5300 PBq (excluding noble gases) has been established as the most cited source term. For Fukushima, we estimated a total source term of 520 (340–800) PBq. In the course of the Fukushima accident, the majority of the radionuclides (more than 80%) was transported offshore and deposited in the Pacific Ocean.
