question about google chrome stop or escape button , GLP help needed
I'm trying google chrome once again ( tried several times over the years , just didn't care for it ) , now i'm trying again , like the layout and themes , but I have a problem with google, there's no stop / escape button, need it to stop loading webpages and scripts , IE 11 all i needed to do was hit the escape button, can't find no function with google, any help or suggestions ?

I use firefox with the noscript plugin. Noscript doesn't allow any script to run unless you allow it, and you can take away permission later if needed. They probably have a Chrome version as well.

Opera is based on chrome and it has a stop button could be worth a try if you need the function.

Here's the page with all the keyboard shortcuts:

[link to support.google.com (secure)]

And Escape should stop a page from loading.

Prowl around the help pages and see what things you can turn on and off that may get you to where you want. Or go to the Chrome help forum and search or ask there.
