Lord Sananda on Gratitude

Dear beloveds, this is Sananda. Some of you are celebrating a holiday known as Thanksgiving. This is the channel's favorite time of year because the vibration of gratitude goes through the ethers and affects everyone on your beloved Earth.

In our realm, every moment is a time of gratitude. Why not have every moment on your world also be a time to give thanks for the perfection of our Creator?

Gratitude is more than just a feeling of gratefulness for the good things in your life. That is the easy part. What is not so easy for most of you is to remain in a state of Divine Acceptance when things are not going the way you want them to. Can you remain in a state of ecstatic bliss amidst a world of suffering and poverty? Can you look with loving joy upon a world in constant war?

Many of you think the only way you can remain in a state of gratitude is by denying the misery and darkness that seem to beckon from every corner of the globe. Whistling a happy tune, you skip down the path of life until a dark moment sneaks up on you, then you wonder what happened.

Those of us in what you call the higher realms have NEVER advocated denying anything that is taking place upon your world. Pretending there is nobody suffering will do nothing to end the suffering. Thinking that all you need do is surround yourself with golden light and everything will magically fall into place is pure delusion.

Yes,it is important to call upon the golden radiance of your higher selves, but true enlightenment is not about denying ANYTHING. It is about complete and total gratitude for every detail of your life and the lives around you.

You may be thinking, "Those words are beautiful, but not very practical. How can I and my fellow lightworkers be grateful for the horrors of this world?"

We are not asking you to approve of the behavior of the oppressor. Nor are we asking you to feel pity for anyone. We are not even expecting you to volunteer at your local charity or travel overseas to help the downtrodden unless that is your calling. The real question,beloveds, to ask yourself, is "How can I look directly upon the suffering of humanity and feel nothing but pure love?" When you look
with your whole being upon the darkness engulfing your world, something within you springs into action and you give in the highest and best possible way, whatever is appropriate for the situation.

Underneath one trapped in drama and trauma, you see a child of God,shining in purity and innocence. You see incredible beauty, even in the eyes of one heavy with sorrow. You not only look directly at the situation, but you look deeper and see the radiant truth of God inside
the starving child, or the residents of a bombed village.

Even if just a tiny bit of your light reaches the ones in peril, you will have made a difference. You are far more powerful than you realize.

Many souls will choose to leave the Earth plane in the years ahead. This will not be a sorrowful experience, but a joyful one, one that is being helped along by the gratitude of the lightworkers. Souls will go where they need to go. They will make choices that are right for them,
depending on where they are on their evolutionary path. It is not for you to worry about.

As you reach out heart to heart to fellow souls on Earth, you ignite a spark within them that moves them forward along their soul path. This is not a violation of free will, but an acknowledgment of one soul to another, an acknowledgment of what is TRULY desired, not what the
ego seems to want.

Be grateful in your own lives for the lessons being learned. Be grateful for the difficulties you experience in your personal relationships. Everything you see and experience is an opportunity to move closer to the God Within. Everything you see, including the so-called bad things, can serve as a reminder of your Holy Self, that
part of you forever beyond the limitations of time and space. When you see someone in pain, call forth your God Presence and shine it brightly. Thank the person in pain for giving you an opportunity to serve. You know that God within that suffering soul is helping that soul to awaken, and you are merely a catalyst.

Gratitude brings about a fundamental change in the way you see the world. When you look with loving eyes upon all things, transformation happens. It may or may not be obvious, but it is there. Allow yourself to be an instrument of peace on this holy day. Bless all, no matter
their station in life. Bless the leaders of your world, whether they are awakened or not. Bless the murderer and the rapist. They desperately need your blessing, but what they do with it is not your concern. You merely give unconditionally and let your blessings fall where they may.

Although these words contain wisdom, it is the energy of our presence within your higher nature that is doing the healing. Allow our energy and yours to blend and merge in the highest and best way possible.

Allow the transmission coming through this channel and through this computer be a catalyst for your awakening. All that we have is yours. We withhold nothing. We offer our blessings freely and without reservation. Receive them and give them to others in the same manner.

Ask that everything be done according to God's Will within you. Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thy will IS done. God's Will through you IS done. So be it. Amen. I AM Sananda, forever yours.
