Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 21923372 United States 02/27/2016 06:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | seems to me if as you say the aurora is only in the north...this is actually more evidence of a flat model not a sphere..if they are right about what causes it should be uniform or symmetrical not just in one spot Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70509808 If the earth has a consistent tilt angle and is revolving around the sun, then we would expect the Aurora to be exactly where it is and remain consistent. It the sun is revolving around the earth, the Aurora would quite literally be everywhere in the visible sky. If you had no other evidence at all that the earth was either flat or round or whether the sun revolved around the earth or the earth revolved around the sun, the Aurora Borealis is enough to demonstrate that the sun cannot possibly be revolving around the earth. |
