I don't know why there are no updates. To guess I would say it is preparation for the rotation of the satellite which will be tomorrow on the 5th. Since all processing of the raw sensor images is done on Earth and they are the same people doing most of the other spaced based sensor image processing tasks it is not unreasonable that they have hiccups sometimes.

I found it interesting that the saturating object currently in the lower right hand quadrant is, I'm fairly certain not a planet and the only slow moving object other than a planet or comet that I have ever seen saturate. Although since Venus caused such a problem this time..... it is possible that the sensitivity of the sensor has been increased making it easier for the image to saturate..... dunno.

AC 23006 , I didnt fake anything . I simply copied the original image into photoshop and applied the lens flare mask and out came the image .

The position of the brightspot is not correct between the C2&C3 they have different fields of view, but your image shows them both at the same spot.

Check out the Lasco 3 from Nov 11 and you can acutually see the anomoly. I wish I knew how to upload links to this site. Call me Computer Illiterate. Ive got the pictures saved in My Pictures but dont know how to get them here. But the picture Ive got from Nov 11th is stunning. You can see something. Now the juries still out on what actually the anomoly is. I thought on it for awhile and wonder if its some kind of shadow also. Maybe its the silohette of Earth? Is it possible? If its a dust cloud then we may actually fly through it? Lets hope that if it is for real, that its a fine dust cloud. Still amazing what the brain will see isnt it. The ancients saw Gods in Plumes of Smoke from Volcanoes. Im sure they thought it was something awesome, when it was afterall, nothing but alot of dust and soot from the Volcanoes. Dust. Go figure. It drops on us constantly and our whole Universe is comprised of it. Dust? Stay Tuned.

to me it looks like someone took Venus and flipped it horizontally and removed the color - or rather added color since white is the absence of color. if you grab the image and drag it over, the two "planets" are the same size.

Well “Scimitar”, I can really see it from your point of view – and when doing so, the most stuff on this site become hilariously funny.

Still, there is another aspect to keep an eye on, and that is outpoints.

(Outpoint = things that are there, that shouldn’t be there. Or, things that are not there, even though they should have been.) Of course, looking hard enough, one probably could find outpoints in basically anything. Mostly those thing are ignored simply because there is no significance to them. But if one see an outpoint that do have some significance, it’s advisable to not explain it with “well.. it can’t be, so and so – or, it must be so or so..”

An outpoint is an outpoint, until the moment one KNOW what is going on. At that moment it not an outpoint any longer, but a fact.

Right now, it’s a fact that there IS an outpoint right beside our dear sun. Until we KNOW what that thing is,
it will remain “an outpoint”.
