No matter who you're supporting in the presidential election, I believe that this will be one of the most epic elections in the history of the U.S. People are at a boiling point with the established order.

Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have proven that through their huge following. If Donald Trump comes close to winning the nomination and Hillary once again "gets away with her shenanigans" and leaves Bernie out in the cold, I think all manner of pandemonium will break loose at the conventions. Bernie supporters are just as heated about all of this as Trump's supporters are.

The old-line GOP is trying to knock Trump off of the playing field and it's not working. Remember, this a different time from what we even had in 2008. People are mad as hell. I think we could very well see another Civil War before it's over.

I truly doubt that. People don't want conflict, even angry people. What they really want is for somebody else to handle it. There will be a lot of angry posturing that could be taken for aggression, but at the end of the day, it will all end peacefully, and we will have our new president to the chagrin of either party.

How come no one ever starts new parties over there? Can't fathom why bernie and trump didn't. We have everything from super greens to exterminate all muslims parties. Even the sex party gets regular votes. 20 percent vote outside the major two.

So many gazillions of dollars are poured into both parties, the SuperPacs, the candidates, etc. Money talks, and it usually keeps other parties at bay.

We do have a complacent culture, but we also have a civilized culture. However, tensions have been mounting for a very long time. Many people are struggling financially. Obama has done nothing but divide this country even more, especially with Obamacare. I just don't see this being a peaceful convention.

You realize Trump is part of the whole scheme right?

Remember Ron Paul? He was filling up stadiums just like Trump with almost zero media coverage.

Trump on the other hand would be nowhere if it wasn't for MSM plastering his name on everything from magazInes to talk shows to news channels I mean Trumps media coverage is probably worth hundreds of millions in free advertising.

But what happened with Ron Paul? The media would go out of their way to ignore him and his supporters. And Trump is 10 times more bat shit crazy than the old kook paul was.

You're a fool if you think this elitist snob Trump is on your side.

No, I actually don't support Donald Trump and have received some unbelievable backlash here on GLP. I have pointed out some red flags about Trump and one poster in particular almost lost his mind, cussing me like a sailor. And, all I did was point out 100% fact. Just one more reason that proves Trump's supporters can be off-the-chain fanatical. That will cause chaos at the convention.

You forget that a whole shitload of non-voters, disgruntled voters, disenfranchised voters, etc see him as a chance and will come out of the woodwork on election day to vote for Trump.

That's true. But, it's also true because people want so badly to "believe". They honestly want Obama's Hope and Change (which we didn't receive). We received a lot of change, but not a lot of hope.

Our culture torpedoes someone who raises questions. It is not politically correct to raise a question. A question-raiser is automatically made to look like a troublemaker, and that's a shame. That's how so many deceptive politicians are voted into office.

Government itself is a sham.

But, while we wait for people to realize they don't need other people controlling them, the best we have is Trump
