I can't tell because I there's no telling where he's going to be on any issue that particular day... I suppose he's like a real person in the fact he's gonna just tell you what you want to hear, and not really give a shit what you think... Donald Trump has been apart of all our lives for years. He is what we know him to be and nothing more. |

Yes there a few exceptions but that's it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71417449 With that in mind I support Trump on the basis that the present Establishment criminals hate his guts. I want to see them go down in flames. It's that simple folks. I agree - the reason I was leaning more towards Trump was because everyone else hates him and is falling all over themselves to destroy him. I don't know anymore...I probably won't vote any way. I think they will be successful in driving him out. They are now playin the KKK card, the mean card, the racist card, the "OMG, he's going to get us all killed!" card, the "but what would Europe think of us?" card, and the "rich white trash" card... He's not going to get any better! The roughly 15% of the General Population he has as voters, that's all he'll ever get... BUT he will be so polarizing that people will come out to vote AGAINST Trump, meaning he'll probably improve Hillary's turn out. No wonder most polls show Trump losing to Hillary...now I get it. White Gloves User ID: 23057637 United States 03/04/2016 10:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Now Trump has never been my first choice for the Republican Nomination for President of the United States, but up until last night he was always an acceptable choice. If he had been the nominee, I would have gladly gone to my polling station and cast my vote for Donald Trump for President...until last night. Many of his supporters don't make it easy for Donald to just be an acceptable choice, they dog cuss anyone who isn't Donald, when questions of ideology come up it doesn't even matter to them if they share the same ideology as that "Other" candidate. If it's not Donald, it's the enemy... Of course these Trump supporters get their cue for this type of behavior from Donald Trump himself. We've had a lot of polarizing politicians in this country, but none that reveled in their divisiveness quiet as much as the Donald has. Being in the lead for the nomination he had the chance last night to rise above these sophomoric personal attacks from Rubio. He could have easily made that debate entirely about the issues, he could have shown character, he could have shown class, he could have tried to bring more followers on to his campaign and he could have at least attempted to unite the party. Judging from all the focus groups after the debate and my own gut feeling about it, I certainly think it would have looked much better if he had at least tried that. But despite having that golden opportunity laid at his feet, he simply decided to up the vulgarity and immaturity, and that's when I realized that class is not in Donald Trump's character. But even with the temperament issues, and plenty of political reasons to pull my support away from Trump that night; his Flip-Flop on the H1B visa Program, his weak response to the Second Amendment question, and his insistence that he would order his Generals to commit war crimes (even when made aware time and time again that he was talking about war crimes) he stood firmly in his divisive spot and said, "They'll do it if I tell them too..." But even with all of that, the reason that finally put Trump entirely ideologically out of touch with me was his answer to why he gave Personal (not business) donations to Hillary Clinton's campaign on at least four separate occasions, Hillary Clinton a politician that Trump has both praised and attacked, but a politician he says doesn't represent his ideology. The reason he gave for those donations was..."Business" -- Business? What business would you have giving a personal political donation to a politician you claim doesn't represent your interests? The only business I can think of for this type of donation is to BUY RESULTS. By saying it was business, he was basically saying it was buying her vote, or her silence, or whatever, he was buying a result. Then I thought about that, isn't that precisely the type of Political Corruption we're trying to get out of the system by supporting Politicians we feel are "Anti-Establishment"? If Donald has been a willing and admitted participant in this corruption before, how can we trust that he will do anything to clean it up? How can we trust that he’s not part of the “Establishment” we’re trying to get the hell out of there, when he’s doing the exact things we’re so mad at the “Establishment” for doing? It was a bridge too far for me Ideologically speaking. So for that reason I cannot and will not offer any support to Donald Trump, even IF he is finally the Republican Nominee for President of the United States of America. I’ve voted Libertarian in all but one Presidential race since Bush Sr. was in office, I guess I can do it again... [link to www.breitbart.com] Donald Talks About His Donations To Clinton at 29:15 In The Video Below: [/aanyway; So you were never for Trump anyway; you fail to state who you will support. Your thinking is tangled in knots and therefore your processing fails. You are among those selling out the only chance we have to save America's sovereignty. Don't pretend you are thinking in moral high ground because you are losing sight of the central issues and have been manipulated by the sheep herders. |

Like you said, he could have turned the attacks around and used them to his advantage. He could have done what Kasich did and 'not bite.' But nope, he always bites.
