Quoting: Seafarer That can cause them in many people. Go to your drug store and look for something called "Canker Covers" They are a tiny disc that you place on top of the sore. well i have been taking l-Arginine because someone said it was good for heart valve. I sometimes wonder if what im paying for is really what im getting. the other day I got a weird bump on my lip that came out of now where, on the inside lip...felt like a pimple. |

Hell, they haven't cured a single disease in 60 friggin years lol. Think about it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60990015 I wonder $why$. People keep donating to find a CURE instead of a CAUSE. Cancer is a $100Billion industry. Why kill it?? lulz trying to "cure cancer" is like trying to cure headaches, or tootaches, or aches in general. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 68837814 United States 03/05/2016 12:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I get them from time to time, since I drink a lot of acidic beverages (Diet Coke mainly, even though I know it's poison) and I read that too much acidity in your mouth can cause them. I'm not totally sure, though. As for curing them, I usually dip a q-tip in peroxide and press it -- quite hard -- right into the cankersore. It will fizz up and hurt like a motherfucker, but if you do that a couple of times, it'll be gone within a day or so. At least, that's what works with mine. *shrugs* |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71497683 THIS^^^^ Plus, before you go to sleep AFTER you brushed and drank your final sip of water, put a tablespoon of olive oil in your mouth and hold in on your canker sore for a few minutes. Swallow. Make sure the last thing in your mouth is the olive oil before you go to sleep. Sore should be more mellowed out by morning. |

That doesn't sound like a canker sore. Usually, it's indented. If it is a canker sore, make sure you don't bite it or scratch with your teeth. Be very careful when brushing near it. And try to keep your mouth clean by doing salt gargles and by drinking lots of water. You can also try putting cayenne pepper on it. It hurts like hell for a minute or so, but it will not be bothered anymore and will heal very quickly. |

Put it on before bed & leave it, the sore will be nearly gone by the morning. |
