Nuclear attack on Carrier Strike Group?
I had read a few years ago about the Third Reich dropping a nuclear weapon on a US carrier strike group during the second Jesuit war. The information was supposedly hush hush because the US public couldn't know that they were in a war with a more technologically advanced country. I was thinking about it recently and decided to try to find some information on it but have had no luck. Has anyone else heard about this or know where I can I find information on it? Just to be clear, I'm not saying it did or didn't happen, but I would like to read about it again if anyone knows a source.

Weird that you mention that. That is exactly what I was wondering when I couldn't find what I had read.

I believe that came from a novel about an alternate end to WW2. Dont remember the name. If they had been a bit sooner to complete their weapon, the war would have likely gone the other way.

Chicago - Chico AG, related to Hermes Telecom Int'l. Hermes Network. Sirius A which is Russia...all cross reference to the Port of Chicago in Martinez, CA...which also owns K-Mart. Weird, but seemingly connected to this! chuckle

I remember the story, but I remember it as a hypothetical, and not a factual event, or cover-up of such event. It was more tactical, as in, if nuclear weapons were ever used in a post WWII world, it would most likely be used against a carrier group at sea.

Believe it or not the German scientists during WW2 didn't persue nuclear weapons as they considered the idea immoral. That was left to the Jewish scientists.

True story.

I have read much about the war in Antarctica between the nazis and US including the ice men that the Germans met, the tropical paradise that they named Neuschwabenland and the sunken white aircraft carrier. All a very interesting read. Thanks for the suggestion!

Kinda makes sense I guess... it's probably the only use of nuclear weapons that may not trigger an invocation of the MAD principal.

Well, as much as nuclear war can make sense anyways.

Re: Nuclear attack on Carrier Strike Group?
A guy named Joseph Farrell has suggested the Nazi's might have used the atomic bomb on their eastern front against Russia. He believes they had it but we're most concerned with protecting a weapon called the "Nazi Bell". He speculates where the Nazi Bell was moved to after the war since no traces of it were found and it might have been the craft that went down in Roswel, NM.

Funny you say that. I was actually going to say the thing when I had replied earlier about what I had read about the war in Antartica. The Navy apparently lost alot of assets.

Dont worry op, shit happens. In my original timeline nuclear warheads were 80-120 mega tonnes as standard, with even larger ones available for deployment. From what ive read up on,on warhead production, in this time line no-one knows how to make the big ones, which is just as well in this crazy screwed up parallel universe.
